How to Specify Your Customized Tie

Here at Jaan J., we can produce our ties specifically tailored to your specifications and taste. Whether the ties are for your organization, wedding or your own bespoke collection, Jaan J. is always at your service.

The following questions are ideas you should address in your initial correspondence to Jaan J. Customer Service. The questions and concepts below also apply to the other Jaan J. products such as the skinny cotton ties, pins, cufflinks, bow ties, ascots, etc.

1. How many customized ties do you want?
2. When do you need the tie(s)? Jaan J. offers different shipping methods if necessary.
3. Is there a customized width and length you would like for your tie(s)?
4. What is the tie(s) for? Is it for a wedding, your bespoke collection, your organization, etc.?
5. Do you want your initials and/or organization's logo on the tie?
6. Will you provide Jaan J. with a piece of fabric or high-quality jpeg in order to match the tie? For example, a picture of the wedding dress.
7. What color(s) do you want for the tie(s)? Do you want Jaan J. to select the colors, use the colors already on the website, provide Jaan J. with the pantone number of the color(s), send in a swatch, etc?
8. What kind of tipping would you like on your tie? Tipping: The diamond-shaped area located at the larger end of the tie, on the lower backside. Please include what you would like written, the colors, the font, if you want the “Jaan J.” name or logos on it, and other relevant information.
9. Do you want to use a Jaan J. design for your tie(s) or will you provide a design?
10. Do you want to make a Jaan J. Signature Collection tie into a skinny tie, vice-versa, into an ascot along with your firm's logo on it, etc.?
11. Would you like to send Jaan J. your own tie and have Jaan J. remake it, remake it in different colors, use it as a template for other designs and colors you want, etc.?

Jaan J. can customize your ties, bow ties, cufflinks, ascots, etc. into practically anything you want.

Please note that it typically takes 4-8 weeks for a client to receive a customized order once the customer has approved production.
